We obtain the original or certified copy of your document (such as a birth certificate or a certificate of Incorporation) in person or by post.

The document is sent to our official translator for translation.

The returned translation is certified by the translator as a true and accurate representation of the original in the presence of a solicitor or notary who verifies the signature of the translator or the representing agency. The solicitor or notary adds their signature or seal to attest that the signature appearing on the document is true and genuine. The certified translation process is complete.

The agency returns the document to the client. The document is ready to be utilised locally. However if it must be used overseas it must also be legalised and carry an apostille certificate.

We repeat stage 1(see above) and obtain a certified translation of your documents. Then we take or send the certified translation to the legalisation department at the FCO to obtain an apostille certificate. The FCO agent verifies the signature of the legal entity on the document (that is, the solicitor or notary public) and attaches the a postille certificate. Then we collect the translation and a postille certificate (or ask the legalisation department to send them back to us. The documents are now ready to be passed to the embassy of the country where the translation is to be used. The embassy can now declare and accept the signature, seal or stamp appearing on the document as genuine. The legalisation process is complete.
